The Foursquare Church Singapore

Who We Are

Foursquare is comprised of a dynamic group of leaders serving together, growing together and using the gifts God has given them in myriad ways. Has God given you a passion or focus? Then, we have a place for you!

As a denomination, The Foursquare Church has a unique history that stems from missions and evangelism. It began as a powerful evangelistic movement and spread throughout the nations to become the global family it is today.

“We are all making a crown for Jesus out of these daily lives of ours, either a crown of golden, divine love, studded with gems of sacrifice and adoration, or a thorny crown, filled with the cruel briars of unbelief, or selfishness, and sin.”

Aimee Semple McPherson, Founder of The Foursquare Church

The Foursquare Church is an Evangelical Pentecostal Christian denomination originally founded in 1923 by preacher Aimee Semple McPherson. The headquarters are in Los Angeles, California, United States. The Foursquare Church (Singapore), now “International Church of the Foursquare Gospel (Singapore) LTD.” was established in 1983 and we’ve been serving people to send ever since. We strive to develop “more and growing leaders together on mission.”

Foursquare leaders include pastors, chaplains, missionary workers and more. Growth starts with you and is a lifelong journey. We’re never done, and it’s even better when we’re growing together. Our relationship with God, with our family, with each other as a global movement—it all matters. We join in the work of the Holy Spirit being disciples of Jesus making disciples of Jesus.

Our Historic Roots

The start of the Foursquare Church USA in 1923
